This policy describes how the Museum of Recent Art (MARe) collects, uses, and protects your personal data within the "UNBOXING BRÂNCUȘI" cultural program.

The personal data controller is the Museum of Recent Art (MARe), located at Bd. Primăverii, nr. 15, Sector 1, Bucharest, Romania.
Data Collected
We collect the following categories of personal data: full name, email address, phone number, and files uploaded through application forms (portfolio, project descriptions). Data is collected exclusively through forms on the unboxing.mare.ro website.
Purpose of Processing
Personal data is processed for the purpose of managing applications to the UNBOXING BRÂNCUȘI Open Call, registration for mentoring sessions, communication with participants, and organizing program-related events.
Legal Basis
Data processing is carried out based on your explicit consent, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Consent is granted by checking the corresponding checkbox when completing forms on the website.
Retention Period
Personal data will be retained for the duration of the UNBOXING BRÂNCUȘI program plus an additional period of 3 years, as required for legal obligations and archiving. After this period, data will be permanently deleted.
Your Rights
You have the right of access to personal data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
International Transfers
